Quality is Important

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but when it comes to selling a home, the right picture could be worth much more. According to the National Association of REALTORS®. Technology has made it easier to take photographs and publish them online. Anyone can edit and upload a photo from a smart phone but it doesn't make it ideal. It is the quality of the photos that can help differentiate a real estate agent’s listing.

Our beautiful editing and incredibly fast turn-around times ensure you can quickly market the listing with confidence.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) vs. Flash

HDR in real estate is pretty popular these days. It seems to be pretty popular around Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Usually it takes me less than one hour to photography a 2,000 square foot home if I am using HDR, but I primarily shoot with flash, which takes an extra hour or so.

With Flash, the quality of the images are more reliable to what the home actually looks. I believe that flash almost always produces a more sharper, crisper, and true to color image. The image looks cleaner and newer, verses the desaturated look that HDR images seem to produce. Your whites will be whiter and your blacks will be blacker. HDR only gets worse when shooting a super dark interior on a bright sunny day. The higher the dynamic range in the photograph the more discoloration walls and window frames will have.
